VeloxaHost runs in one region today: US East, in the Washington, DC area. More regions are planned and will be listed here when they open.

Choosing a Region
Pick the region closest to the majority of your end users. Today the only open region is veloxa-us-east-1 (Washington, DC area), so that is where everything you create runs. The console's region menu, on the sign-up page and on the create-server page, lists every open region; planned regions appear there only once they open.

Resources (instances, volumes, networks) are created in one region and stay there. With a single open region today, all of them are in veloxa-us-east-1.
What veloxa-us-east-1 does not offer yet
- Virtual machines: create containers; a request for a virtual machine is refused with a message saying so.
- Private networks between your servers: each server gets its own isolated connection and a shared IPv4 port block (SSH on its first port).
- Floating IPs and load balancers. A dedicated IPv4 address ($2/month) is available as an add-on; see Shared & Dedicated IPv4.
- Public IPv6 addresses.
Availability & SLA
- Uptime target: 99.9% per calendar month for the control plane and API, as described in the SLA
- Status: current incidents and maintenance are on the status page
- Backups: take snapshots on demand or on a schedule, set a backup schedule per instance, and download any backup to keep your own copy (see Snapshots & Backups)
- Before maintenance on a host, operators can evacuate it, moving its instances to other hosts in the same cluster
